Our Programs

At AAA K-9, we have programs to fit every budget and every lifestyle, starting with Basic On-Leash Obedience, where we build the foundation of your relationship. We offer the following training options, as well as customized training plans to fit your needs:

  • Basic On-Leash Obedience
  • Basic Off-Leash Obedience
  • Advanced Off-Leash Obedience
  • Behavioral Consultations
  • Personal Protection Training

The best way to figure out which program is best for you is schedule a FREE In-Home Evaluation. This is where a professional trainer will come to you to discuss your dog's problem behaviors and your goals. This lets us meet your dog on their home turf, where she will be most comfortable. That way we can get the best read on the situation, so we can come up with the best plan of action.

On- and Off-Leash Obedience
Communication is the foundation to a happy, cooperative relationship with your dog. Obedience is much more than teaching your dog to sit & stay. It is how we communicate with our dogs. We'll show you how to talk to your dog so that he or she understands what you want. Once you know how to talk to your dog so he understands you, the sky's the limit on what we can teach him. From rolling over and playing dead to advanced off-leash tricks, communication is where it all starts.

Behavioral Consultations
Many times behavioral problems can be solved very quickly, just by letting your dog know what you expect from him in a way he can understand. There are several factors that will determine how long it will take to get rid of a problem behavior: the dog’s age, how long the behavior has been present, the nature of the behavior, etc. For those behaviors that require more in-depth work, the cost of the first behavioral consultation will be applied to the obedience program of your choice.

Personal Protection
Personal Protection Training is not for every person, dog, or situation. Beware any trainer who offers this kind of training on first sign-up. Not every dog has the right personality for it, and not every client wants to assume the liability of a personal protection dog. That being said, when it is done correctly, Personal Protection Training not only teaches your dog how to react and when to react, but also when not to react. Personal Protection Training not only provides security from unwanted aggressors, it also ensures that your dog will not become confused and attack anyone he’s not supposed to.
